Granite paving slabs

The dimensions of the paving slabs is determined on the basis of project requirements, whereas the thickness depends on their sizes and on the working load of the paving. The bigger are the slabs, the bigger is the thickness.

As a general rule, the minimum thickness is 3 cm and the maximum thickness is 12 cm.

The stardard thicknesses of slabs produced by stone industry are the following ones: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 cm.

The treading surface of outdoor paving is always bush-hammered or flamed, whereas the sides of slabs are sawn or semi-sawn.
